Our Spotlight Author for November 2004

Dear Readers,
When I was a little girl, I never thought of writing books. I had plenty of stories in my head, but it never occurred to me to write them down. My stories were very similar to the sort of fan fiction one finds on the internet these days, starring my favorite characters in TV shows or movies. My stories were also always romances. When I discovered romance novels, I was in heaven. I especially devoured historical romances.
But life progressed, and I became a county mental health social worker helping other people craft real happy endings. During a lull in my previously hectic life, I finally decided to try to put my fingers to the keyboard. What did I aspire to write? Romance. Once I began, I knew this was my life's desire: writing Regency Historical Romance. My Regency Historicals have won the Golden Heart award and the Royal Ascot, as well as other romance writing prizes.
My goal now is to write stories that you readers will enjoy as much as I do creating them.
